Maria Vela & Jose RAnda, known by the stage name Pura Pasión, have been dancing together since 2010, the year they won their first salsa championship. Sience then they have come a long way where they have reaped numerous successes.

Together they have taught classes and show their shows in the best Latin Dance Congresses around the world, stepping on the stages of the five continents. They have also been invited to several television and radio programs and have participated in numerous interviews. 

In April 2021, they were proclaimed World Salsa Champions (WLDC), thus becoming the first Spanish couple in history to achieve this title. Since then they are always fixed on the podium of each world championship they attend.

Since 2022 they are official dances of the prestigious Fan All Stars label, an honor that only 15 dancers have in the world!
